Erik Dreispiel

Erik is a Data Engineer with experience in the retail, logistics, fintech, and software development industries. He is a software generalist with a strong understanding of business challenges and is highly skilled in ELT/ETL pipeline development, monitoring, and deployment. He is also a strong advocate for data quality and data observability.

Prior to joining Aimpoint Digital, Erik was a Data Engineer at Factored, where he worked on multiple data projects, including migrations to modern data platforms and data reconciliation for marketing segmentation. He has extensive experience in both Snowflake and Databricks, alongside tools like dbt. Recently, Erik has been exploring novel LLM applications in the programming space, as well as diving into model serving, fine-tuning, and RAG.

Erik holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Purdue University, with a minor in Management. In his spare time, he enjoys exploring the local food scene in any city he finds himself in, seeking out hidden gems and unique cultural experiences.
