The Challenge
Simfoni manages highly complex spend data—ranging from payment terms to usage trends and external market events—making it difficult to identify optimization opportunities at scale.
They needed to quickly deliver on their GenAl strategy, connecting to each customer's data environment and accurately answering user queries with tailored, actionable recommendations to improve spend efficiency.
Our Approach
The Aimpoint team built an agentic workflow using LangChain to power a multi-turn chatbot.
The agent leveraged text-to-SQL capabilities and routed queries based on use cases to provide tailored, context-specific responses.
Integrated with Slack and a custom API, the agent enabled users to not only analyze spend data but also take direct action—like messaging stakeholders or launching new projects—based on their queries.
