Beneyam Yifru

Beneyam brings a strong foundation in data analytics and software development, with experience across government, telecom, and logistics sectors. He is passionate about turning complex data into actionable insights through dashboards, automation, and analysis.

Before joining Aimpoint Digital, Beneyam held internships at CRDF Global and Lumen Technologies. At CRDF Global, he supported cybersecurity initiatives for government ministries by developing Tableau dashboards, standardizing incident response procedures, and contributing to the deployment of a security operations platform. At Lumen, he optimized RESTful APIs, improved backend data processing, and collaborated on secure authentication systems. He also conducted Python-based research analyzing COVID-19 case trends, using statistical modeling to uncover demographic factors tied to testing positivity and case surges.

Beneyam holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Maryland Global Campus. His technical toolkit includes Python, SQL, Java, Tableau, and Power BI.

Outside of work, he enjoys playing soccer, pickleball, and going on runs.
