Chris Hastie

Chris was appointed as an inaugural Snowflake Data Superhero in 2019 for his industry thought leadership and knowledge-sharing; through public speaking engagements and blogs, sharing information whenever he can and often mumbling about Snowflake in his sleep.

Chris has also been a SnowPro Subject Matter Expert since 2020, as an inaugural external expert supporting the development of most current SnowPro exams.

Prior to joining Aimpoint Digital, Chris was a Data Practice Lead at InterWorks, owning multiple global engineering and architecture streams, including internal best practices for project delivery with customers, strategy and pipeline for public-facing content, internal and external enablement, and the development of new products, services and internal accelerators.

Chris’ passion is not only to personally provide elegant and simple solutions to complex problems but also to provide others with the knowledge and tools to do this themselves.

Chris has a 1^st Class Master of Mathematics (MMath) from the University of Manchester, and spends his free time with his family, at the cinema, at the theatre, or just relaxing at home playing video games.
