Dylan Ford

Dylan brings over 7 years of experience in Data Engineering and more than 10 years leading Data Quality Assurance projects. He has a strong background in Databricks and is one of approximately 100 Databricks MVPs globally. Dylan has experience facilitating all aspects of implementation, administration, and solution development. He is also proficient in a wide range of tools and languages, including Python, SQL, Scala, AWS, Kubernetes, Matillion, Airflow, and dbt, which he uses to build reliable, end-to-end data pipelines.

Prior to joining Aimpoint, Dylan played a key role in implementing Databricks as part of the Data Services team at Disney Studio Technology. There, he supported data science, film production, and marketing analytics teams across their data needs. His background in Data Quality began in the early 2000s, working on data warehousing, regulatory reporting, and risk management projects for major Australian banks in both technical and leadership roles.

Dylan holds a degree in Business Management from the University of South Australia. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his three children (and many pets), traveling, staying fit, and gaming when time permits.
