Jamie Laird

Jamie leads the Platform Engineering discipline within Aimpoint’s Data Engineering & Infrastructure practice. He specialises in designing and building analytic data platforms that help organizations work effectively with data at scale, focusing on design excellence, engineering best practices, modern development approaches, and automated deployment.  

Jamie brings 15+ years of experience from previous roles at Keyrus UK and at QS, where he was Head of Market Intelligence. He holds certifications in Databricks, Snowflake, dbt, AWS, Azure, and Sigma.

Based in Edinburgh, Jamie enjoys cycling, traveling, and getting out into nature whenever possible
