
Neil is an Associate Data Engineer on the Data Engineering and Infrastructure team with experience building large-scale data pipelines, cloud-native applications, and distributed systems. He is passionate about building scalable, reliable systems that leverage the latest technologies with a thoughtful and detail-oriented approach.
Prior to joining Aimpoint, he developed geospatial carbon data products at a climate technology startup, processing vast amounts of NASA satellite imagery and environmental data into machine learning-driven solutions. Before transitioning into the computational field, he conducted data-driven biomedical research focused on autoimmune diseases.
Neil holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from Northeastern University and a dual Bachelor’s degree in Biology and Anthropology from Grinnell College. Outside of work, he enjoys running, practicing yoga, learning Spanish, reading classics, camping, and hiking.
