Nika McGill

Nika is a Lead Platform Services Engineer with over eight years of experience designing and implementing cloud data platforms. She specializes in Snowflake- and dbt-based architectures, modern ELT patterns, and scalable ingestion frameworks that improve performance, reliability, and long-term maintainability.

Prior to joining Aimpoint Digital, Nika was an Architect at Slalom Build, where she focused on modernizing data systems with Snowflake, AWS, and dbt-based architectures. Her work included developing metadata-driven ingestion templates, redesigning long-running legacy pipelines, and reducing processing times for high-volume data products from hours to minutes.

Nika holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Colorado Boulder and multiple partner certifications, including SnowPro Advanced Architect, Fivetran Technical Certification, and Matillion Associate Certification.

Outside of work, Nika enjoys running and cycling on Colorado's trails with her friends and family.
