Penn Sefton

Penn is based in Birmingham, Alabama and specializes in advising clients on data platform builds across various industries. He’s passionate about connecting technical solutions to the business value they deliver.

Before joining Aimpoint Digital, he worked as a Senior Consultant at 3Cloud, delivering Azure-based data engineering solutions. On the Data Engineering team, he used Databricks and dbt alongside Azure resources to synthesize disparate data sources—expanding analytical capabilities while reducing cost and time spent preparing data. He promoted customer-centric thinking on his projects, ensuring that critical business users were engaged in data product development, which led to significant gains in usage and targeted new features.

Penn earned a Bachelor of Science from Samford University, majoring in Economics with a minor in Data Analytics.

In his spare time, he enjoys a round of golf (good or bad), pickleball, any soccer match, and cooking new foods.
