Vishaal Venkatesh

Vishaal has a background in computer vision, natural language processing, deep learning, and reinforcement learning. He is curious about up-and-coming, niche data science techniques and is passionate about transforming them to provide business value to our clients.

Prior to joining Aimpoint, Vishaal obtained a master’s degree in data science from Duke University. During his capstone project there, he worked with a global cybersecurity client to build object-detection models that could detect phishing attempts on websites. Before Duke, Vishaal graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign with a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering.

Vishaal recently moved to Chicago and is looking forward to exploring the food and sports scene there.
