Vitto Russo

Vitto is experienced in building scalable data platforms for high-growth, data-intensive organizations. Vitto is a data engineer with a background spanning cloud architecture, high-volume pipeline development, and performance optimization.

Prior to joining Aimpoint, Vitto was a Data Engineer at EPAM Systems and Globant, where he maintained large-scale data ingestion pipelines and optimized BI data models for enterprise reporting. He also designed and maintained pipelines processing up to 1 PB of data and led a migration from Snowflake to Spark and Apache Iceberg that improved performance and scalability by 50%. During his time there, he also implemented data observability frameworks that strengthened data quality across the pipeline lifecycle. Vitto is skilled in cost and performance optimization and works closely with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into scalable engineering solutions.

Vitto has a Bachelor of Science degree in Electronic Engineering from Universidad del Norte. In his free time, he enjoys cooking interesting recipes and playing online video games.
