The Challenge

A global insurance conglomerate had invested in 400 Alteryx licenses to modernize finance operations, but licenses alone wouldn't drive adoption. The organization faced a capability gap: no established processes for use case intake, prioritization, or IT collaboration, and limited technical expertise among the user base to build solutions independently.

Compounding the challenge, critical regulatory requirements including IFRS-17 compliance, demanded rapid delivery of high-priority use cases in parallel with the broader enablement effort. The Finance COE needed a partner who could simultaneously train hundreds of users, establish governance frameworks, navigate complex IT relationships, and deliver production-ready solutions—all while building the internal capabilities for long-term independence.

Our Approach

Aimpoint Digital delivered a comprehensive enablement program designed to build sustainable internal capabilities rather than consultant dependency.

Structured Enablement at Scale.
We trained the 650+ users across varying skill levels through a tiered program: foundational training for the broader user base, advanced development for 35 Regional Champions, and specialized coaching for 15 Super Users who would become internal experts. Training materials were designed to be recorded and reused, so new hires could onboard at the same standard without re-engaging consultants.

Governance and IT Integration. We established a governance structure with defined intake and prioritization procedures, working directly with IT stakeholders to build partnerships in a politically sensitive environment. This integration reduced bottlenecks and enabled the COE team to operate strategically rather than reactively.

Parallel Value Delivery. While building foundational capabilities, we delivered high-priority use cases, including IFRS-17 and Blackline integrations, to meet regulatory timelines. We developed templates and design patterns that accelerated subsequent development and ensured consistent standards across the organization.
