Juan Morinelli

Juan has more than 10 years of experience in research and development. He brings a diverse perspective to process design and control, with experience spanning the public, academic, and private sectors. He is a team-oriented, lifelong learner who enjoys creating computational tools to solve real-world manufacturing problems.

Prior to joining Aimpoint, Juan worked as a Senior Data Science Consultant at Kalypso, a Rockwell Automation business. Before that, he served as a Research Scientist in the Data Analytics division within the same organization. In both roles, he led data analysis, computational design, and the implementation of client-driven solutions across a wide range of process industries and manufacturing environments.

He holds Bachelor’s and Master of Science degrees from Michigan Technological University and a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University.

In his spare time, Juan enjoys playing soccer, attending Austin FC games, and exploring the outdoors of Central Texas.
